Mindful Furniture
We do a large diversity of designing and building furniture
We believe a custom, hand crafted, well-designed piece of furniture, that will last generations, is preferable to one that can be bought at a fraction of the price but must be replaced every ten years.
We enjoy solving problems for people – designing a piece to fit in a specific location or provide a unique set of features.
We find designing and crafting a piece to coordinate with existing furniture to be particularly rewarding – both to myself and my clients.
Let me build a custom family heirloom for you!

Furniture Grade Hardwoods
We also sell furniture grade hardwoods having 48 different kinds of wood on hand. This allows us to combine woods to bring out the contrast for a stunning effect.
Keep Your Memories Alive
Occasionally, you may have a tree on your property that needs to be removed. There may be special memories associated with the tree and the thought of removal is difficult. We can help to keep the memory alive by harvesting the tree and using the lumber to create heirloom furniture for you and your family.

When we moved to our farm in 1976 we were given 2 black walnut seedlings. We planted them and they grew along with us and our 3 children for the next 40 years. They were fixtures in our yard that provided beauty, shade, and nuts, and we enjoyed them immensely. In 2016 a severe storm caused some damage to our home and to many trees including these 2 black walnuts. This left us with numerous logs on the ground, but not enough to market. We called Michael to see if he was interested in these logs and he came and picked them up. In exchange for our logs, he volunteered to make us a coffee table with some of the wood. He transformed this raw wood into a table that is very unique and beautiful. This table is close to our hearts because it is a remnant of our history and our lives growing with these trees. It is also very special because of the personal, artistic effort that Michael put into creating it.
